The Historical Society of Seabrook, New Hampshire, was formed in 1965 and is housed in the historic Brown Library, with its various collections and donated items pertinent to the history of Seabrook. The Brown Library was the first library in Seabrook and was originally located on Lafayette Road, as denoted by a historical marker at the intersection of Lafayette Road (U.S. 1) and The Provident Way (NH Rte 107).  In 1994, the Brown Library building was carefully transported and moved to become attached to the new Seabrook Library at 25 Liberty Lane, off Centennial Street, Seabrook, New Hampshire.


The Historical Society of Seabrook offers genealogy research help as well as information about the history of Seabrook.
