Tuesday Toddler Time (ages 18 mos-3)
Caregivers and children ages 18 months-3 are invited to join Miss Amanda for a circle time in the Community Meeting Room at 10 AM in which we practice simple songs, fingerplays, rhymes, and movements. After circle time, we meet in the Children’s Area for 40 minutes of free play and socialization. Registration is not required.
Friday Storytime (ages 3-5)
Children and their caregivers are invited to join Miss Amanda and Miss Trish in the Storytime/Crafts room every Friday at 9:30 AM for stories, songs, rhymes, and dancing followed by an optional creative activity. Due to limited space, registration is required. Please register using the Google Form on our Storytime events calendar listing.
Our storytime follows the Colorado Libraries Five Early Literacy Practices: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing and encourages growth in the Six Early Literacy Skills: print motivation, print awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and narrative skills.
