Institute For Museum and Library Services and The Seabrook Library

On Friday, March 14, the White House issued an executive order that calls for the elimination of the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) "to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law."

Mini Movers Play Group

Connect, play, learn!

Tuesdays, 9:30-11 AM in the Children's Area. Drop-in. Parents and caregivers with children 4 and under: join Patrice Baker, Early Intervention Specialist, for playtime, conversation, and parenting resources. The early years are the foundation for learning and success in school! Pre-registration not required.

 

Pre-K Storytime

Sing, move, play!

Fridays, 9:30-10 AM in the storytime room. Join Miss Amanda and Miss Trish for music and movement and a simple craft for toddlers/walkers, pre-Kindergarten children, and their caregivers. Registration not required.

Kids LEGO Club

Imagine, build, play!

Tuesdays, 3-4 PM in the Storytime Room. Grades K-4. Take the bus from SES and gather with friends in the children's craft room to create your own LEGO project. Use one of our prompts or imagine your own! Registration required. Forms are available at the Youth Services Desk.

 

 

Kids Library Explorers

Explore, discover, create!

Wednesdays, 3-4 PM in the Storytime Room/Children's Area. Grades K-4. Take the bus from SES to the library! A snack and a group creative activity are offered and we end with supervised play/book browsing time in the children's area. Registration required. Forms are available at the Youth Services Desk.

 

 

 

Tween Maker Time

Hang, snack, craft!

Thursdays, 3-4 PM in the storytime room. Grades 5-8. Drop in, have a snack, hang out, and use our crafting supplies to make a fun project with friends. Registration not required.

Bone Builders

The Bone Builders meet every Monday and Thursday at the Seabrook Library

Registration is required.  Additional information can be found on the Friends Program website.

May Book Club

The Book Club meets the first Thursday at 11:00 am.
